Christian Louboutin Replicas - What are we looking for?

Other than having an out of control handbag addiction, I am also a self proclaimed shoe addict. Goodness, I have (as most of you I'm sure) spent tons on my need to have designer shoes.  A couple of years ago, I came accross a replica handbag site that carried both bags and shoes, I was needless to say in replica heaven! I ordered my first pair...and have not turned back since. I have had a few hits, and a few misses.

I'll share my findings with you. I also have a couple of sites, that seem to specialize in shoes...they look pretty good.

Buying wisely

There are several seemingly reputable Replica Shoe sites out there selling our favorite, Loubous, YSL, Manolo and Jimmy Choos. Most of them offer the standard 7star replica shoes. Well made, and durable... for $169 -$250.

What!?! Seriously?

I have not spent more than $130 for a pair of replica shoes. I never will.  You should not either.

Neiman Marcus, Saks, Norstrom and a plethra of other High-End retailers have annual, semi-annual and half yearly sales where you can buy Authentic Designer shoes from $199 and up. Sometimes even less. Earlier this year I bought a pair of Manolo pumps from the Barneys Warehouse Sale in Santa Monica for...get this $159.99 on the last day of the sale!!! Granted that was a lucky find but still...We all obviously would prefer the originals if we have the option. Right? So don't let the excitment of your new shoes, stop you from scouting out the best deal your money can buy!

What to look for.

With shoes we can really only go by the photos that the site offers and our gut instinct. I prefer sites that do not use the standard stock photos...(that everyone seems to carry) and instead gravitate towarsd sites that show photos of shoes that were personally taken. (When possible).

I love to see those super large detailed pics of shoes that let me see the construction etc. Things I look for are clumps of glue, uneven placements and the sole and heel structure.

Sole and Heel structure???
You never thought of that huh? Well start thinking! Next time your on a shoe replica site, take a gander at the Gucci, Louis Vuitton and Chanel shoes. On most of these sites you will find the heel and soles are the same...cross designer...cross styles. This in the real world...not possible. Beware.

And just as in handbags...shoes are replicated out of thin air for shoes never even thought of by the designer. Please don't touch these shoes!

As always know your stuff. Did Jimmy Choo really make those shoes? In that color? style? heel????

And remember $200 replica shoes are just plain silly!!! Ok.. maybe the new Thigh- High and OTK boots for the season are ok. Pumps and stuff? Not ok!
